Richard F.W. Bader Memorial Lecture

During the last two years of his life, Richard Bader (1931-2012) Grand Fellow of the Akademy, was helping us to understand the relationship between system failures and their molecular structures.  This very challenging task was part of the fundamental research in Mirce Mechanics. Richard’s endless energy, knowledge and personality were a continuous source of inspiration and motivation for learning and applying  Quantum Theory of Atoms in Molecules (QTAIM). into concept and principles of MIRCE Science.  Consequently, the Council of Fellows of the MIRCE Akademy has decided to establish  The Richard F.W. Bader  Memorial Lecture.

Since 2012, the following Lectures have been delivered in Richard's honour:

  • Professor Mark Eberhart from the Colorado School of Mines, Golden, USA, delivered the 1st Memorial Lecture entitled  "Design with Quantum Theory of Atoms in Molecules",on 28th May 2012, during the 1st World Congress of MIRCE Science. (photo)
  • Professor Gernot Frenking, Fachbereich Chemie, Philipps-Universität Marburg in Germany, delivered the 2nd Memorial Lecture entitled "The Chemical Bond – Sphinx and Lucky Bag", on the 10th June 2013, during the 2nd World Congress of MIRCE Science. (photo)
  • Adsiunkt Dr Mariusz PaweÅ‚ Mitoraj, Jagiellonian University, Cracow, Poland, delivered the 3rd Memorial Lecture entitled "Molecules in Molecules as Complementary Approach to Quantum Theory of Atoms in Molecules", on 3rd June 2014, during the 3rd  World Congress of MIRCE Science. (abstract)
  • President and Founder of the MIRCE Akademy, Dr Knezevic delivered the 4th Memorial Lecture entitled "I Enjoyed your visit, very much", on the 20th May 2015, during the 4th World Congress of MIRCE Science.(photo)
  • Professor Preston J. MacDougall,Pre-Pharmacy Coordinator and Assistant Chair Department of Chemistry, Box X101 Middle Tennessee State University Murfreesboro, TN 37132, USA, delivered the 5th Memorial Lecture entitled ""What is Picotechnology? Was R. F. W. Bader the 1st Atomic Engineer?, delivered on 1st June 2016, during the 5th World Congress of MIRCE Science. (abstract)
  • President and founder of the MIRCE Akademy, dr Knezevic delivered the 6th memorial lecture entitled "Atoms in Molecules in Mirce-mchnaics", during the 6th World Congress of MIRCE Science  (abstract)
